Is there any pre care prior to resurfacers?
Yes, it is recommended to stop using products containing alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), beta hydroxy acids (BHAs), and retinoids (like retinol) for at least 5 to 7 days before and after microneedling.
These ingredients can increase skin sensitivity and irritation, so discontinuing their use will help prepare your skin for the procedure and minimise the risk of adverse reactions.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions required can vary depending on your skin type and goals. Many people benefit from a series of 3-4 treatments spaced a few weeks apart.
