Skin peels Information

PRX-T33 TCA

  • Is a painless chemical skin rejuvenation and bio-revitalisation treatment to stimulate collagen and elastin.
  • Stimulates the growth of new skin skills whilst also having an anti-inflammatory effect.
  • Also cleans the pores, eradicates bacteria linked to acne and increases the collagen and elasticity of the skin.

PRX –T33 is based on TCA (trichloroacetic acid), which penetrates the deeper layers of the skin, without damaging the outer surface. You get all the benefits of the TCA without any outward signs. TCA then stimulates the skin to produce elastin and collagen, the two factors which cause ageing as we slowly reduce our ability to make fresh collagen and elastin.

Skin peels FAQs

What Are Chemical Peels?

Chemical peels are cosmetic treatments designed to improve the texture and appearance of the skin by exfoliating the outermost layer. They involve the application of a solution that prompts the skin to peel off, revealing fresher, smoother skin beneath.

How Do Chemical Peels Work?

Chemical peels work through a controlled process of exfoliation. The chemical solution applied to the skin causes the targeted layers to shed, stimulating collagen production and cell turnover. This leads to improved skin texture, reduced fine lines, and a more even skin tone.

Are Chemical Peels Suitable for All Skin Types?

Chemical peels can be tailored to various skin types and concerns. However, a consultation will be performed prior  to determine the most suitable peel for your needs.

What Skin Concerns Can Chemical Peels Address?

Chemical peels can effectively address a range of concerns, including acne scars, sun damage, uneven pigmentation, and fine lines. They can also improve the overall brightness and clarity of the skin.

What are the Different Types of Chemical Peels?

Superficial Peels

Superficial peels are gentle and primarily target the outermost layer of the skin. They are ideal for mild skin issues and provide a subtle rejuvenation.

Medium Peels

How Frequently Should You Get Chemical Peels?

The frequency of chemical peels depends on the type of peel and your skin’s response. Superficial peels can be done more often, while medium peels may require more extended intervals between treatments.

How to Maximise Results and Minimise Discomfort After a Chemical Peel?

Following a chemical peel, it’s crucial to follow the recommended aftercare instructions. This typically involves using gentle skincare products, avoiding sun exposure, and staying hydrated to support the healing process.
